- Do you take a deposit, and how much is it?
I take a $1000 non-refundable deposit at booking to secure your date. The remaining amount is due 1 week before the wedding.
- Can you help us with the day-of timeline?
Absolutely! I have a couple example timelines in my guide once you have booked wedding photography service. I love to help make sure the day runs smoothly and we can ensure I capture all of the important moments.
- Will we meet before the wedding?
I hope so! I try to meet all my clients around booking or during the engagement session. That isn't always feasible because of locations etc., but we can definitely meet virtually!
- Can you help us pick bridal portrait locations?
For sure, I am always on the hunt for amazing locations to take photos! I would love to help you pick spots that integrate into your day while creating a beautiful backdrop!
Wedding
During a wedding day photography, I focus on capturing candid moments with a few portraits with the family. I aim to capture the laughter, tears, and little glances the couple and the guests share. I find when I look back at photos I am most drawn to the ones of myself where I am transported back into those feelings.
I want to look at an image and remember what it felt like to be in that moment and I want to create that feeling for my clients! When we are creating portraits, the poses I do are created to make you feel confident in front of the camera (because it can definitely be a bit scary! I feel that!) but stay natural to who you are as a couple.
These shots are a mix of artistic, intimate, and playfulness which I believe is best achieved through getting to know each other throughout the planning process. We can email, FaceTime, have coffee/beer hangouts or you can just fill out a little questionnaire I have; I just want to get to know what is most important to you! I believe this helps on the wedding day for you both to be able to focus more on celebrating with your people!
