Mike + Paula got married at the UBC Boathouse in Vancouver on an early spring day. Their day started the The Westin Wall Centre, a short drive from the Boathouse. Mike and the guys were having a blast, drinking some beer and preparing for the day! Paula and the girls were at the top of the hotel with an amazing view of the Fraser River. Spirits were high as they got ready together and Paula handed out special gifts to each of her bridesmaids, mothers and grandma. The morning was moving quickly and before we knew it, it was time to put the dress on. Paula’s two sisters assisted her with the dress before doing a reveal with the rest of the bridal party and mothers. It was an exciting time! We heading the Boathouse to get on with the ceremony.
We arrived and everyone was anxiously awaiting the brides arrival. Mike + Paula said their vows and they were married! Their ceremony was filled with meaningful words and special touches such as their mothers lighting a candle and they lit a candle together with those two from their pasts. Everyone was filled with excitement as they walked down the isle for their recessional.
Next we headed to the docks for a big group photo, family photos and the bridals! We had a blast! There was so much love in the air.
Finally the reception started back upstairs. The sun was setting out the windows as everyone was starting to dig into the delicious food. We ate, we laughed and simply enjoyed. There was a garter toss and bouquet toss which both got an amazing showing! We finished the day with sparklers and dancing! It was a perfect day.
