The day began beneath cloudy skies, with the sun slowly making its way through throughout the afternoon. The changing weather created beautiful, soft light across the mountains and added to the relaxed feeling of the day. From the gondola ride up to the celebration above Squamish, every part of the day felt connected to the landscape.
The couple wanted their wedding to feel relaxed, elegant, and personal, with thoughtful vintage-inspired touches woven throughout. The details complemented the natural beauty of the Sea to Sky, creating a celebration that felt timeless while still completely true to them.
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was having friends and family travel from all over to be there. With everyone gathered together in one place, the day was filled with the kinds of moments that make weddings so special: long hugs, laughter with old friends, quiet moments together, and happy tears.
And, of course, the setting couldn’t have been more beautiful. The Sea to Sky Gondola offers incredible views of Squamish’s surrounding mountains, with glimpses of the ocean stretching out beyond them. Paired with a June day of shifting clouds and sunshine, it made for an unforgettable backdrop for their celebration.
More than anything, this Squamish wedding was about bringing people together. It was intimate without feeling small, elegant without feeling formal, and full of genuine moments between the couple and the people they love.
