As soon as Julie saw pictures of Cleveland Dam she knew it was the perfect place for their North Vancouver family photos. They have recently relocated to North Vancouver from Alberta and want to show off all the PNW vibes! I think Cleveland Dam was a great choice. And the weather even cooperated with us! With mountain views, lush forest trails, and space for the kids to play in puddles and run free on the trails, it was a lovely evening! Not to mention such a sweet family to be able to capture!
I love when kids are able to be free and explore while getting their photos taken! It makes for such wonderful smiles and authentic moments! Being able to capture your family in the moments that they are in, is the best. I don’t often get teenagers wanting to splash in mud puddles and do running hugs! Let’s embrace the seasons of life we are experiencing in these moments! Comforting your child through a small cry during the session is also definitely allowed (and documented!) because that is real life.
