This backyard wedding in Abbotsford was a beautiful day surrounded by nature, beginning with the bride and groom’s first look nestled intimately in the trees. As Bri walked towards Ryan, she spread her arms wide for an emotional embrace. The two took this special moment for themselves, swooning over each other under the canopy of colourful trees.
Later that morning the ceremony took place in a beautifully unique location, Herons Bridge. The guests walked down into the fern filled forest, with candles lighting up the pathway. Once everyone had made their way down, the wedding began! The bride’s uncle was the officiant and played a beautiful love song for the couple mid-ceremony. This was a very meaningful touch to this intimate moment! Luckily for us, the rain held off until mid-ceremony and offered a magical moment when everyone had to pop their umbrellas open amongst the beautiful forest foliage. Finally, the ceremony concluded with a gentle kiss and joyful smiles all around!
After some bridal party portraits in the forest, we made our way to the beautiful backyard reception. When we arrived, the whole wedding party made a memorable entry, dancing their way in! Many laughs were shared in this moment as the MC’s welcomed everyone back. They even brought prize items to win, including a shirtless calendar of the groom. Everyone wanted to win that one!
The night continued with speeches, laughter, a few tears, and many thoughtful moments! Later, the dancing commenced, and everyone was ready to groove! The bride even grabbed the mic and sang for the guests. It was such a fun night of celebration!
