I have known Ian + Breanne since high-school so it was amazing to see their relationship flourish and turn into a marriage! I was so honoured to be their wedding photographer. These two tied the knot at the Delta Grand hotel downtown Kelowna and following that headed to Kettle River Brewing to make use of their rustic decor to continue the urban Kelowna wedding. July 7th, 2017 was a sunny, summery day in the Okanagan – perfect for saying ‘I Do’.
The day began and by the time I caught up with them they were all ready to walk down the isle. The make-up, hair, dress, suits were all looking fabulous! Not the mention the stunning arbor that was waiting for them at the end of the isle. Everyone was seated and anxiously waiting for the bridal to begin the ceremony. Once they were all in position at the front, Breanne made her walk down the aisle. Ian had a tear in his eye and Breanne’s father looked so proud next to her. The ceremony was so beautiful and Pastor Ed Weiss did a wonderful job officiating for them! The signed the registry and had their first kiss as husband and wife! Finally their guests blew bubbles as they walked down the isle. Off to have a drink and a small snack before bridals.
For their photos we headed to Kettle River Brewing. If you’re in Kelowna, definitely check this place out! We hung out there for a while and enjoyed their shade. Next we quickly stopped by Pauls Tomb for some lake and outdoors shots. We then headed back to the Grand to start the reception but not before stopping by cannery lane for a couple more urban Kelowna images.
Time to eat + dance!
Check out their day and leave them some love below!
